The Lewd Angel

natural person syndrome

I used to work in a small village in Prince Edward Island called Borden. It is where the bridge connects to P.E.I.. Tourists who drive by would notice a well kept strip of business's that is known as Gateway Village. It kinda hides the actual village of Borden which is mostly a shabby run down looking kind of place.

I got to know some of the locals one summer and went through a phase where Borden was my favourite place to be. I would go to the legion there for something to do and it was kinda funny because people there would just be asking you why on earth are you HERE?

The residents of Borden like the bottle and on any summer day you'd be sure to see people gathered on porches enjoying a few beers. It's such a small community that it felt like a summer long block party.

I made friends with these guys who lived in a tent in their parents backyard. I'd go drinking with them and it was pretty fun. The youth of Borden have this spot on the beach where they go to get drunk and have campfires that they call the caves despite the fact that that there are no caves there. There was this certain spot where I would go to pee there. It was behind a big block of sandstone that would kinda block out the sound of rowdy drunks and allow you to hear the waves more clearly. The beauty of that spot is the sort of which makes you feel instantly at ease with the world. Everytime I peed there I felt like the most fortunate person in the world. I know that if ever I peed in a golden toilet and wiped myself with silken toilet paper that it wouldn't even come close to matching the luxury of dripping dry in that spot.
