So I got the u.n.b. ornithology department on the case of the "us" ducks yesterday and unfortunately it turns that while the Amanda duck is a female black duck, that the Melissa duck is in fact a MALE half breed black duck/mallard. I was pretty bummed about turning out to be a guy but then I remembered that the joke will be on her when I knock her up and leave her to raise the kids alone.
Shout out to all my deadbeat dads!
