I was supposed to go maybe take some pictures or something today but I went shopping instead. I need some kind of monster that crawls into my purse when I earn money, takes it and hoards it in a secret location until I have ten thousand dollars saved up. That, or I need some self control. Money saving monsters seem easier to come by.
Anyway, I spent money at the record store. I was just gonna buy one cd but then I looked in the records and got an attack of geek lust for a couple of Peggy Lee records. It is extra dumb cus I don't even have a record player anymore but I felt like I would regret not getting them if I didn't. I go extra gay for her records because you can get so many songs you can't find on cd and plus they are old and analogue and I love them. I love the static electricity feeling when you pull a record out of it's sleeve. I imagine it be the awesomeness of the music somehow pulsating out from the record.
If I was a genius and I wanted to write a science/philosophy/spiritual blah blah book it would be about analogue vs. digital and all the reasons that ones and zeros, ons and offs can never represent anything with quality.
There's this drunken french hobo who occasionally does odd jobs for five bucks for my boss and for some reason he gave the guy a shirt with our work logo on it and is letting him hang around and pretend kinda that he works there. He has a bunch of lakeport beer he keeps in a cooler in the entryway and he sneak pours it into cups all day and drives everyone nuts because he just goes all over the place and the other day he was wiping all my customers tables while they were sitting there drinking. I can't understand what he is saying half the time but he talks about pails a lot.
I got a mini mouse skirt.
